Owner Craig Currier's background in the asphalt maintenance industry began in 1979 when he joined the Army as an asphalt and concrete equipment operator. After four years of service, he moved to Alaska with only a duffle bag of personal belongings and the desire to succeed.
In the mid 1980's he and a couple of close friends started an asphalt paving company. Within a few years the company boasted sales in excess of $2 million dollars. Soon, he began to realize the need for asphalt maintenance specialists. In 1994, fueled by vision and drive, he started his own company.
Currier's Asphalt Maintenance has since become one of the leading asphalt maintenance companies in Alaska. With the introduction of Asphacolor colored sealcoat to his list of specialties, 'Currier's Asphalt Maintenance' will continue to be a leader in the asphalt maintenance industry.
